Industrial Accident Reported at Biodiesel Plant in Tseung Kwan O

According to a report by Hong Kong Radio on February 8, an industrial accident occurred at a biodiesel company in Tseung Kwan O.

At around 1 a.m., police received a report that an employee had been injured while at work. Preliminary investigations indicated that the incident took place at a biodiesel facility located at 22 Chun Wang Street, Tseung Kwan O. A 33-year-old male employee was suspected to have been splashed by hot oil during operations, suffering burns to his left hand, left abdomen, and left leg.

The injured worker remained conscious and was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment. Police are following up on the case, and the cause of the accident is under further investigation.
