APSAC and ISCC Sign Three-Year MoU to Advance SAF Certification Across Asia-Pacific
The Asia Pacific Sustainable Aviation Centre (APSAC) and ISCC have signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support the development of certified sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply chains across the Asia-Pacific region.
The partnership will focus on sustainability certification, industry training, technical exchanges and stakeholder engagement. Both organisations aim to help airlines, SAF producers, feedstock suppliers and regulators better understand certification requirements and strengthen supply chain traceability.
Cooperation will include workshops, training programmes, technical guidance, industry events and joint publications. The partners will also exchange expertise to support policies and regulatory frameworks that facilitate the expansion of certified SAF production and adoption.
ISCC Managing Director Dr Norbert Schmitz said certification is essential for building market trust, highlighting the significant potential for sustainable feedstocks and SAF production in Asia-Pacific.
APSAC CEO Philip Goh added that robust certification and traceability systems are increasingly important as regional SAF demand continues to grow.
