Petrobras Resumes Biodiesel to Stabilize Domestic Fuel Prices

According to reports, a senior executive of Brazil’s national oil company, Petrobras, stated last Friday that the company will resume biodiesel production in the northeastern state of Ceará.

She noted that the company’s fuel pricing policy is taking effect and reiterated efforts to prevent fluctuations in the international market from being passed on to domestic fuel prices. Chambriard emphasized that the company has successfully shielded the local market from the impact of international price volatility.
