The EU has appealed the panel’s ruling in its dispute over Indonesia’s biodiesel import tariffs.

The European Union has notified its decision to appeal the panel report in the case initiated by Indonesia, “EU – Anti-Subsidy Duty on Imports of Biodiesel from Indonesia” (DS618).

WTO members were informed of this appeal at the Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) meeting on September 26. The panel report was circulated to WTO members on August 22, 2025.
